The theme of our East-Zagreb Regional Teacher Education Meeting was the Finish educational system. After getting to know the basic structure, members had a chance to speak with Alf Hemming, a teacher of geography at Rajamaen Ylaaste Ja Lukio School in Finland, about 50 km North of Helsinki. The conference was enabled through the program Skype and lasted about 20 minutes. The Zagreb geography teachers got better accquainted with the marking methods in Finland ( grades are from 4 to 10),  the student's efforts of cheating on tests, the number of school days, programs for children with special needs or individualized programs and other questions.  The ability to comunicate through Skype was very attractive, and costs nothing. On the contrary, a 20-minute talk over a distance of over a thousand kilometers between  Finish and Croatian  collegues virtually found ourselves in the same room.
