The foreign students are here as part of the compulsory practical part of their studies or as experience after their studies. By working with us inside and outside of the classroom, they gain useful experience in their profession and learn about Croatia, while we get to know about their country and way of life.
Here you can find out who the interns are that are here with us this semester. Examples of their work and relaxation are available in our photo gallery.  They have participated in many activities at our school and outside of it – in public libraries, at  other schools, and they have travelled around Croatia as well as other countries.  We learned a lot from each other and exchanged many opinions. It was interesting to learn that in Bulgaria shaking your head YES actually means NO, and shaking NO  actually means YES! It was also interesting to learn that the word Nαι [nɛ] in Greek really means YES! We also heard that once pilgrims used to travel on foot from France, Germany and even Poland to the shrine of Santiago de Compostela in the Spanish province of Galicaia. We talked about the problem of cheating on tests. We read Columbus's journal in Croatian and Spanish, we looked at fresh photos of the Northern Ligts in Finland and we opened an ethnographical exhibition on America.  ''Polish Thursday'' attracted us into the library and Nickolas Copernicus was able to reverse the image of the world.
