This became the forcal point for an intergrated day. The grade six students baked cookies with lavandar.  (Lavandar is grown on our school grounds and maintained by our Eco group. It is also used in soap which we produce for sale at our Christmas Crafts Display and Fundraiser.)

The younger grades participated with songs, poems, prayers and short dramatizations. They also brought bread, cakes and other baked goods from home for the celebration. The school choir sang songs.

The older students worked on varrious presetations. They talked to us about the food pyramid and healthy foods. There were also presetations about bread, fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, salt, yeast and plants and flowers in the Sopnica area.

At the end, Father from our local church  blessed us and our food. Then we all went to our classrooms and shared what we had brought and made. It was a very exciting day for all.
