For over 20 years it has been a symbol of bravery, honour and love for home and for country. We remember the dead and wounded during the siege of Vukovar, who fought with their lives in order to defend their home.

Who will protect my home and my friends? Who will Vukovar deliver us from darkness? There are none stronger than you and I; therefore, if it is not to difficult, if there is still a whisoer of youth in your veins, join us... The city – this is all of you... The 5th and 7th grades will honour this event on Thursday after the long break, while the 6th and 8th grades will participate after their long break with their subject teachers. Pupils may bring their own candle if they wish. Lower elementary pupils will join in with the upper elementary pupils according to their shift (morning or afternoon) in school.
