Divorce is a hurtful and stressful time for both children and the parents of a family. Other than the fact that it complicates lives, it creates a whole range of intensive, confusing and often hurtful emotions. Families often feel sadness, loneliness, fear, stress, abandonment, concern for parents, but also anger and rage. These emotions are often accompanied by physical manifestations such as headaches, stomach aches, and also problems with concentration and learning in school.

The child, youth and family center ''Modus Društva za Psihološku Pomoć '' (''Modus Organization for Phychological Help'') offers free workshops and support for children and parents who are going through a divorce, or who have already been divorced.
If your family is in the process of a divorce, or has just been divorced and there are school aged children involved, give us a call! Workshops for upper- elementary aged children will begin during the month of October. This will encompass 12 meetings for the children, and 6 meetings for their parents. The workshops are run by experienced phychologists and advisors.

Workshops for parents and children aged 5 to 10 years of age are planned for the spring. The goal of this program is to offer  help through the difficult process of divorce, to support both children and their parents, to intergrate this hurtful and painful experience and work through negative emotions.
